Biography

For the past 7 years I have been serving at Christ’s Church of the Valley, a bible-based, culturally relevant church, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. As one of our Teaching Pastors, my greatest joy is helping people to deepen their connection to God and discover timeless truths from the Bible. I believe people grow strong in their faith by putting God’s word into action. We can do this through building relationships, actively participating in Christian community and reaching out to those who are far from God.

Education and Experience

I graduated from Valley Forge Christian College with a focus in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling. I have served in various leadership roles in churches around the country since 1994. Some of those roles include student ministry (youth), young adults (college), small groups, and preaching and teaching.

Current Efforts

I love my current position here at Christ’s Church of the Valley. I am currently one of our Teaching Pastors and I administrate our teaching team. When I am not at CCV I also spend time helping small group leaders and pastors through a web tool I have developed with a close friend of mine, John Noonan (True Blue Media), called Small Group Help.

Family

I was raised in a Christian home and discovered God at a young age. As a result, I became involved in church leadership as a teenager leading and administrating adults and teens in the “Children’s Church” ministry. While serving in the Air Force in Montana, I brought to life every mother’s greatest fear by meeting the girl of my dreams, marrying her, and moving her far away from her family. (The number one rule out there is to “Never date the jetters!”) We have been married for 12 years and have two boys, Michael and Anthony.

Spare Time

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, dining out at new restaurants with my wife and friends, and reading. Another favorite pastime is strolling through Disney World with my wife and boys, we try to do this every couple of years with my family. If you ever see three bald guys walking around with a large mouse, well… it just may be the Chiapperino brothers.
