When Family Has Greater Meaning

A couple of weeks ago my parents came down for a quick weekend visit and the boys had a really great time with them. Of course the kids were spoiled rotten since Grandma and Papa came bearing gifts! However, what means so much more to me is is what they say. When they were getting ready to leave, they both told me that they really love our boys and they thought that Shelli is an outstanding mom and that I am a great dad. They really believe we are doing a wonderful job raising our sons and they are so proud. I will never forget that moment. It means so much to me coming from them. I know how hard they worked as parents to raise me and my two brothers in they best way they knew how. I am so grateful for the times we get to spend with them and I can’t wait until this summer when we get to introduce AJ to the rest of Shelli’s family that hasn’t met him yet!
