Privileged

Posted on 19. Mar, 2008 by in faith

If you arrive a church early on Sundays, many of our services start with a countdown video that we call the 5 minute window. A few minutes into the video below you will see a college student named Alex (when he was baptized). He was one of the founding members of the youth ministry that I helped start here at CCV. It was a great experience and I feel so privileged to be able to watch him grow into a young man that leads a small group, helps with student ministry, and plays guitar in our band on Sunday morning. I thank God for opportunities to know guys like Alex and to witness life change happen right before my eyes. Plus, if you take the time to watch the below video you get to see me when I had hair!

    Dude!
I remember that video, and I was there. I was choked up seeing how this you man has grown. When I see him up on stage playing guitar, and praising God with his gifts it is indescribeable. And I do remember you having hair :D

    Frank,
I remember this well! It was a beautiful day! I hope you realize what a difference you and CCV have made in Alex’s life and the life of our entire family! I remember very well sitting in my kitchen with you before the RIOT meetings, not really sure where you were going with these kids but you really got through to them and for that I am forever grateful!
