Gene Appel at CCV

I got to spend some time with Gene Appel this weekend while he was at CCV and it was a great learning opportunity for me. He is an outstanding speaker and a gifted leader. It was a pleasure working with him throughout the weekend and during our Sunday services. Here are some quotes from Gene that hit home this Sunday morning:

Gene also encouraged us to write Legacy Statements this Sunday. Here is mine:

I want to leave a legacy – leading others to love by being an example through my marriage, my parenting, and teaching.
