Jesus Film Goes Anime!
The Jesus Film is a classic Christian film that has been around since the late 70′s. I remember growing up and seeing this movie at church and with my family. The original film has been translated and distributed into 1033 languages around the world but is beginning to look dated. So, what they are considering is redoing the movie in Japanese Anime style but using the audio from the 1033 language versions to save on production costs! I don’t know man, I still don’t get the anime thing. As “outdated” as the Jesus film is at least it’s still video. It still seams better then a bunch of pictures. Heck the flip picture books have better animation then anime. Maybe good for a certain audience…
Josh, What you saw was just a preview video. I believe the final cut will be better then what is in the preview but with Anime style. It will be interesting to see what they decide.

This is just a storyboard idea to sell the concept to the suits. They are still scriptwriting and deciding what Jesus should look like.
