Christian Kids Programming – Jelly Telly

Posted on 08. Sep, 2008 by in ministry, technology

The average American kid watches 5 hours of media per day! That amazes me. We limit the amount of TV our kids watch daily and I remember having similar limitations while I was growing up. The interesting part about all this is that while kids are watching more and more TV or media, less and less of it is being produced by Christians. The Disney Channel and Nickelodeon connect with many kids on a daily basis, while we only get to teach large groups of kids Christian values at church for one hour per week.

Phil Vischer, the guy who started Veggie Tales, is once again trying something new and I can’t wait to see what he does next. Watch the video below to learn more about Jelly Telly.
