I Am Second

A few weeks ago we started a new series of teachings at Hope Summit called I Am Second.  A while back, Norm Miller started a website where people share their story and quite a few people have shared their experience with God. College and pro football players, musicians, actors, actresses, ministers – many people from different backgrounds with a great story to share. After seeing a few of these videos on the web I thought we should create a sermon series out of it? So we’ve gone to the book of Acts and each week we’re looking at a conversion story like Paul, Cornelius and others to learn how they made the choice to say “I Am Second,”  putting God first in their life. We’re also using the videos fromIAmSecond.com and creating our own so our church hears from our own people and how they’ve also made the decision – “I Am Second.”

The last two weeks have started off as a powerful experience for me and for our church.  It’s resulted in visitors, life change for believers, community, and even some baptisms.  I’m looking forward to what God does next! Take a look at one of our first videos below.
