I LOVE these facts. So simple, precise... and after a couple years - timeless! Can I have permission to link to your page? I just put out a book called "Facebook Jesus: Using Facebook to Build and Grow a Church" (www.facebook.com/bookjesus) and I'd be honored to share this information with the fans by placing a link to the page. Do you mind? Also, I'd love to hear more. Can you link me to any more spots for some great insight on tech and church? I'm always looking to learn.

Thanks so much!

Frank,
I stumbled on this post through a quick Google search. While this post is a couple of years old, you really make some excellent points on why churches should you Facebook. Since your post there is now so many more ways to connect than before and it's amazing to see how Facebook has grown. I actually have a blog called "DigiAspire" that is focused on helping churches become effective at online ministry. I'm looking for case examples to share with my readers and in my seminars to share real stories of pastors like you using social media and online resources like Wordpress to connect to people most of us would never be able to minister to. If your church at Hope Summit Christian is doing anything that is really connecting online, I'd love to hear about it to share your story. Drop me a line and let me know! Also if your church wants some new ideas on how to use Facebook to connect to your community, I have a blog post here with 20 different types of content churches can use on social media: http://digiaspire.com/engageyourcongregation

God Bless!

Some good thoughts here, Frank. Anxiety seems to be a growing epidemic in our society today. While it sometimes very clearly requires medical and professional attention, I also believe it would be significantly minimized if we as a society and culture learned to follow what you've shared here.
