Saul, hated Christians. He hunted them down, broke up families, threw them in prison, and even had them killed. However, God had a plan and even Saul was not out of God’s reach. That is something I think we can learn from Saul (we know him better as Paul). No matter how devastating the path of destruction trailing behind us is… we are still within God’s reach. There is hope, and that is what the sermon below is about. In this message I review Paul’s conversion story verse by verse through Acts 8-9. Hopefully you find it encouraging.

We often find ourselves fighting against challenges that seem stronger than we are. So how do you stand fearless when there’s so much at stake? In the video below I speak about some of my personal experiences regarding fear and how I believe the scriptures tell us we should handle confronting our fears.

I’m not sure why, but for whatever reason, many Christians feel like they are not allowed to pray for what they want. Asking God to expand our financial resources is off limits. Praying for our own personal gain… out of the question. Since when did prayer come with so many rules attached to it? In the sermon video below I dive into this issue and also interview my friend Lindsay Spengler. Lindsay has struggled with a condition called RSD for almost 10 years. I first posted about Lindsay when I interviewed her for a sermon I on the topic of suffering (you can read that post here). When I first met her she was in tremendous pain, stuck in bed and unable to even eat for FIVE YEARS, but God changed her life and answered her prayers. If you’re interested in knowing more, watch the video below:

The sermon last week is inspred from Matthew chapter 15 and also Andy Stanley’s book of the same title (he’s one of my favorite authors and speakers). If you liked my sermon you will definitely want to read Andy’s book as he dives into specifics on addressing issues of the heart.
